3rd May, 2016 – HONG KONG – Natural & Organic Products Asia (NOPA), the largest natural & organic products trade show in Asia, will make its return this summer in Hong Kong and help the natural beauty industry explore business opportunities in the Asian market.

Research agencies and industry professionals are on the same page regarding the potential of Asia’s natural beauty market. A recent report from research agency Future Market Insights states that the value of the ASEAN organic cosmetics market will hit around US$4.41 billion in 2020, up from US$2.56 billion in 2014, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.5%.

Although medical cosmetics continue to play an important role in the Asian market, natural beauty is still a significant trend, says Frances Chiu, Chairman of the Federation of Beauty Industry (HK). “Though medical cosmetics are still preferable due to their instant and obvious beauty effects, there is still a large proportion of consumers who are switching on to the trend of natural beauty products – and they are willing to spend more money on them.”

Over the years, NOPA has aimed to serve as a channel for natural beauty product suppliers who are entering the Asian market and winning profitable business. Apart from providing a platform for exhibitors to showcase their newest and highest-quality products, NOPA also arranges other exciting expo features – including the new product showcase, the best product awards and a variety of networking events – to enhance these suppliers’ brand exposure, and to foster business partnerships and cooperation.

Last year, NOPA achieved spectacular results, with a record-breaking 206 exhibitors from 31 countries – showcasing more than 1,000 products to 6,211 international buyers. More than 86% of the surveyed exhibitors in 2015 pointed out that they had great ROI from the show.
